The new program will be taught by professors in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences as well as by other faculty members. Students enrolled in this program will have to bring their own calculator in order to be prepared for these math lessons. The basic calculus curriculum will be taught by faculty members.Students will have to enroll in at least four classes to be eligible for the tutor. Students will be notified if they need to change their major or course load before the first class begins.The tutoring will also include one unit of online tutoring and there will be a grade point average that is determined by the students' quiz scores. However, if a student needs extra help with their homework, they can visit the online tutor. They will be required to pay an hourly rate for these classes. The college of liberal arts and sciences is the lowest pay rate for tutoring in the state of Ohio.Students who are interested in enrolling in calculus, but who are not very good at math, will be able to take the tutoring classes with the help of another instructor. The online tutoring for calculus will take place at the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences website. The calculator will be provided by the college.
